However, failures are very common among scientists, even among the most successful ones &#8211; but only a few speak about them. To highlight that failures are part of everyone&#8217;s career, some academics published their <strong>CVs of failure<\/strong>, among them Johannes Haushofer, Professor at Princeton, who has an incredible &#8220;normal&#8221; CV. By publishing <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/haushofer.ne.su.se\/Johannes_Haushofer_CV_of_Failures.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">his CV of failure<\/a><\/span>, he also start a discussion about <strong>psychological health in academia<\/strong>. As he mentions in a German <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.zeit.de\/campus\/2016-05\/cv-of-failures-johannes-haushofer-professor-princeton-scheitern\" target=\"_blank\">interview with ZEIT Campus ONLINE<\/a><\/span>, we do not know much about the prevalence of depression and other psychological disorders. But the few statistics existing point to, for example, a very high degree of depression among academics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Someone who talks about changing the <strong>culture in science<\/strong> and how to deal with what he calls the <strong>&#8220;cloud of confusion&#8221;<\/strong> in a very motivating way is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weizmann.ac.il\/mcb\/UriAlon\/homepage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Uri Alon<\/strong>, Professor at the Weizmann Institute of Science<\/span><\/a>.
