The Max Planck Society<\/strong> is organizing a symposium with and for their current and former researchers taking place from 22nd to 24th of August<\/strong> in Berlin<\/strong>. Get insights into the careers of former researchers and extend your network!<\/p>\n

For the first time in the history of the Max Planck Society, the Max Planck Symposium for Alumni and Early Career Researchers will bring together its alumni and active early career researchers of all disciplines, sections and institutes, to meet and develop a lasting partnership way beyond their Max Planck time.<\/div>\n

Underlining the steady objective of the Max Planck Society to maintain a close connection with her former employees and to foster the exchange between active early career researchers and alumns*, half of the 300 participant’s slots are designated for Max Planck alumns and members of the Max Planck Alumni Association e.V. (est. 2015).<\/p>\n

The preliminary programme consists of key notes, lectures and workshops \u2013 given by both a line-up of the most experienced and motivating alumn relations and networking professionals, within and outside of the Max Planck Society, as well as alumn volunteers. Furthermore, we will provide manifold opportunities for hands-on interaction, during participant-organized workshops, unconferences, a career fair and social events. You\u2019re highly welcome to add a specific workshop wish during registration, in case it doesn\u2019t already appear on the preliminary agenda.<\/p>\n

Extended Registration!<\/strong> We invite Late-Bird-Applicants to continue registering online<\/a> until 30th<\/sup> July 2016. (Please note that applications to travel stipends are no longer possible.)<\/p>\n

As we expect a fairly competitive selection procedure, all registrants will be asked to fill out a short questionnaire where they may emphasize their specific interest in the Max Planck Symposium for Alumni and Early Career Researchers<\/em> in order to ensure a most stimulating experience for everyone. Childcare can be made available upon request.<\/p>\n
