Dear everyone,<\/em><\/p>\n On behalf of all the organizers it is our pleasure to invite you to the\u00a0upcoming\u00a0Ribbon Synapses Symposium (RSS) 2017, a specialized international conference to be held in G\u00f6ttingen, Germany on 11-12 September 2017.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n The meeting is jointly organized by the two Collaborative Research Centers SFB 889 “Cellular Mechanisms of Sensory Processing”<\/a><\/span> and SFB 894 “Ca2+<\/sup> Signaling: Molecular Mechanisms and Integrative Functions”<\/a> <\/span>and will be hosted at the Max Planck Institute of Experimental Medicine.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n This meeting aims to not only bring together experts in the field, who will present and discuss novel data and provide a detailed overview of the current state of the art of ribbon synapse research, but additionally provide a platform for young scientists to present their work in form of either an oral presentation and\/or a poster.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n Ribbon Synapses Symposium 2017<\/strong><\/em> Registration for short talks is open until 1 July 2017<\/span><\/a>.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Please visit the conference website for further and up-to-date information:\u00a0http:\/\/www.rss2017.uni-goettingen.de<\/a>\/<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n The current program and poster are attached.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n In addition to the RSS2017, the students course <\/strong>“Fundamental Principles of Sensory Processing” will be held\u00a0subsequently\u00a0on Wednesday, 13 September 2017<\/strong>.
