{"id":2791,"date":"2018-01-11T16:04:34","date_gmt":"2018-01-11T15:04:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ggnb-blog.uni-goettingen.de\/?p=2791"},"modified":"2018-01-29T16:30:08","modified_gmt":"2018-01-29T15:30:08","slug":"apply-for-the-dorothea-schlozer-career-promotion-programme-female-postdocs-only-deadline-31-january-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ggnb-blog.uni-goettingen.de\/?p=2791","title":{"rendered":"Apply for the Dorothea Schl\u00f6zer Career Promotion Programme (female postdocs only, deadline: 31 January 2018)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.uni-goettingen.de\/en\/122357.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dorothea Schl\u00f6zer Career Promotion Programme<\/a><\/strong><\/span> offers female Postdocs on G\u00f6ttingen Campus the opportunity to <strong>promote their career development<\/strong> and <strong>prepare them for a leading<\/strong> (international)<strong> role in research and academia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>one-year intensive program<\/strong> provides female scientists and scholars of different disciplines with training and coaching in key academic skills as well as practical career-relevant knowledge relating to international science management, research funding, leadership skills, appeal proceedings and networking.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Apply by January 31, 2018!<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The program enhances career development in a flexible and individual manner. It combines a wide range of methods (individual and group coaching, workshops and training) as well as information and networking options with advisors from inside and outside G\u00f6ttingen University.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Target Group: <\/strong>all female postdocs, junior research group leaders and junior professors at G\u00f6ttingen University and the G\u00f6ttingen research campus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The program will start with an obligatory kick-off workshop on <strong>6th March 2018<\/strong>. Active participation is mandatory. Your supervisor supports your participation and will release you from work on these days.<\/li>\n<li>The program is free of charge. The costs incurred for materials, drinks and refreshments during the workshops is adding up to <strong>60\u20ac<\/strong>, which needs to be paid in advance.<\/li>\n<li>Please note: The courses will be offered bilingually if possible (German\/English, dependent on the language skills of the participants). However, basic knowledge of both languages is required and a prerequisite for some of the workshops.
