Multiple Perspectives for Greater Awareness&#8221; by <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-goettingen.de\/en\/585922.html\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Dr. Matteo Garavoglia<\/span><\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What is leadership? Which roles do different individuals play within a  team? What dynamics underpin effective team communication? Which tolls  can one employ to provide more effective supervision? This workshop  helps you to develop the tools to effectively answer some of these  questions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dates: <\/strong>Thursday and Friday, 14-15 January 2021 <br><strong>Duration: <\/strong>Thursday &#8211; 9:00-18:00h; Friday &#8211; 9:00-16:00h<br><strong>Location:<\/strong> <strong>The workshop will take place online.<\/strong><br><strong>Trainer: <\/strong> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-goettingen.de\/en\/585922.html\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Dr. Matteo Garavoglia<\/span><\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Registration: <\/strong>Please <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gauss.uni-goettingen.de\/career-registration\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">register here<\/span><\/strong><\/a> and send an <strong>email to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"mailto:career@gauss.uni-goettingen.de\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">career@gauss.uni-goettingen.de<\/span><\/a><\/strong> including a short statement on your motivation to attend the workshop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Workshop description:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the first day, participants are guided through a series of steps to<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>identify\nwhich leadership strategies might best suit the needs of the team<\/li><li>understand\nthe different roles that individuals might play within a team<\/li><li>enhance\ntheir communication skills <\/li><li>address\nthose issues that might influence the quality of supervision. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>On the\nsecond day, participants will join the workshop one at the time for a tailor-made\nsession with the trainer. Within this context, participants will have the\nopportunity to discuss the individual challenges that they are facing and to\nemploy the skills learnt on the first day.
