Prior to her Master and PhD in G\u00f6ttingen, she did her bachelor\u2019s in molecular biology in Saarbr\u00fccken, Germany and Strasbourg, France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After graduating\nin Summer 2019, she got certified in project management, and started her\nposition as consultant at d-fine GmbH in January 2020. At d-fine, (PhD)\ngraduates with scientific training are solving problems in mainly the financial\nindustry. Franziska is currently working with one of Germany\u2019s largest banks at\ntransferring the bank\u2019s risk management calculations into a Cloud-based\ninfrastructure. At the bank, she was surprised to find how many of her\ncolleagues have a background in STEM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n<p><!--EndFragment--><strong data-rich-text-format-boundary=\"true\">About the sessions: <\/strong>Our Career Impulse Sessions offer a platform for interactive and informal exchange about career-related topics for PhD students and postdocs in the Life and Natural Sciences.
