The log-in data will be sent to registered participants.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the speaker: <\/strong> Hendrik is an alumnus of the GGNB Systems Neuroscience PhD program. He performed his doctoral thesis in the German Center for neurodegenerative diseases in Prof. Andre Fischers\u2019 group working on Epigenetic readers using transcriptomics. Before that, he did his MSc in Developmental Neural and Behavioral biology in Goettingen focusing on molecular Neuroscience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After\ngraduating in 2018 he continued his research as a post-doc until 2019. After a\nshort exploration of the startup world, he made the transition to industry in\nthe end of 2019 and joined Evotec where he started working on chronic kidney\ndisease as a data scientist, thus made the transition from wet-lab to dry-lab.\nHe is now leading the target identification efforts within the computational\nbiology team of Evotec Goettingen, which is expanding. He is looking forward to\nsharing his experience on transitioning to a completely new field and method\nand answer any questions you may have around industrial research and alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n<p><!--EndFragment--><strong data-rich-text-format-boundary=\"true\">About the sessions: <\/strong>Our Career Impulse Sessions offer a platform for interactive and informal exchange about career-related topics for PhD students and postdocs in the Life and Natural Sciences.
