In this career seminar, Dr. Fabian Peters will give an introduction on the process of research and development in the industry of tire manufacturing. First, the company Continental will be presented, followed by a scientific presentation of material development for tires, the tire setup, the compounds, some material physics, target conflicts, and testing.<\/p>\n
Dr. Fabian Peters has studied Chemistry at the Georg-August University in G\u00f6ttingen and is an alumnus of the Max-Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry (MPI-bpc) as he conducted his doctoral study in the Department of NMR-based Structural Biology (NMR-II) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Christian Griesinger with the topic Development of lanthanide tags for biomolecular NMR spectroscopy.<\/p>\n
