The science manager Dr. Helene Schruff studied comparative literature and holds a PhD in philosophy. After receiving her doctorate she began working with the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) in Bonn as program officer, later program director for research centers. In 2007 she changed to the Administrative Headquarters of the Max Planck Society in Munich.<\/p>\n<p>After introducing herself in more detail, Helene Schruff will give an overview on the various options as a science manager.
