Here is the invitation to the next Horizons in Molecular Biology conference:
Dear fellow students, dear alumni, dear faculty, dear colleagues,
We would like to cordially invite you to the 12th “Horizons in Molecular Biology” conference, organized by the PhD students of the Molecular Biology program and International Max Planck Research School at the University of Göttingen!
The conference will take place on the 14-17th of September 2015 at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry here in Göttingen and feature, among others, the following speakers (topic in brackets):
– Martin Chalfie, Nobel Laureate of 2008 (mechanosensation)
– Adam Frost (ribosomal quality control)
– Maya Schuldiner (functional genomics)
– Alice Ting (live cell proteomics)
– Scott Emr (ESCRT pathway)
The opening talk will be given by Tom Rapoport (protein trafficking).

As always, the first day of the conference will feature the Horizons Career Fair, where young researchers can explore their career possibilities and get into contact with companies. Further details about the Horizons Career Fair will be posted on the Horizons website in a few weeks.
The conference will provide ample opportunity for interaction with speakers, poster sessions and student talks to spread your own research, travel grants for selected participants, elevator pitch sessions to advertise your poster before the poster sessions, and a panel discussion.

The deadline for early registration at a reduced fee is August 1st, 2015. The deadline for the submission of abstracts is August 20th, 2015.
