In their impulse talks, Mary Osborn and Reinhard Jahn will talk about careers in academia. They will present and discuss factors and strategic considerations which need to be taken into account to succeed in an academic career. You will be able to discuss about these factors and considerations with them and raise your individual questions and concerns regarding your academic career plans.

Reinhard Jahn on “Career tracks in academia: Do’s and don’ts”
Mary Osborn on “Active decision making: When and how to change your career path if you do not want to stay in academia”
Moreover, Katrin Wodzicki, the coordinator of the GGNB Career Services, will give an overview about opportunities supporting your career planning and career development at the GGNB as well as on the Göttingen Research Campus in general.
After the session, you will have additional time to network with the speakers, the coordinator and other participants.
