Workshop “Exploring the Unknown – The Company World”, 20 March and 12 April 2018

We are happy to announce the our next GAUSS Career Service workshop “Exploring the Unknown – The Company World” by Gaby Schilling.

Target group: Postdoctoral scientist and late-stage PhD students who are currently applying or planning to apply for a position in industry.

Goal: Getting to know different departments and their functions in a company and reflect about whether related jobs could be a good fit for your interests and profile.

Dates: Tuesday, 20 March 2018 (9:30-17:00h) and Thursday, 12 April 2018 (12:30-16:30h)
Duration: 1+0.5 days
Location: GZMB building, seminar room 0.232
Trainer: Dr. Gaby Schilling

I, Scientist – The conference on gender, career paths and networking (May 2018)

“I, Scientist – The conference on gender, career paths and networking” will be held on 25-26 May 2018 in Berlin (iscientist.de).

The conference is designed by and for students and young postdocs in natural sciences and mathematics. Their mission is to increase the visibility of female role models, introduce you to a variety of career options, and give you a dedicated time for networking and establishing useful contacts.
