We are happy to invite you to our next Career Impulse Session with Management Consultant Dr. Daniel Reuß (Kearney): “Try something different – From the wet lab to management consulting”

Daniel will talk about how he successfully made the switch from academia to a leading management consulting firm. He will offer insights on the skill set you need to become a consultant and why Kearney is looking for new talents with a MINT background. Kearney is a management consulting firm with offices in more than 40 countries serving three-quarters of the Fortune Global 500.

About the speaker: Daniel studied Microbiology and Biochemistry at the University of Göttingen and graduated with a PhD about genome minimization in bacteria in May 2017. He joined Kearney as a consultant in 2018 where he is part of the global healthcare team serving clients in the pharmaceutical and med tech industry.

About the sessions: Our Career Impulse Sessions offer a platform for interactive and informal exchange about career-related topics for PhD students and Postdocs in the Life and Natural Sciences. By inviting PhD holders with different career paths, we would like to illustrate the broad range of potential careers for PhD students and postdocs and give inspiration for career choices. The sessions also offer a platform to exchange experiences among each other.
