I just got information about two funding programmes for doing a postdoc abroad.
New DAAD programme for postdocs (P.R.I.M.E.)
In co-financing with the EU programme Marie Curie, the DAAD is offering new funding opportunities for postdoctoral researchers, namely „Postdoctoral Researchers International Mobility Experience“ (P.R.I.M.E). It is funding positions (not stipends) for highly qualified junior researchers of all nationalities and from all research fields. Promotion is possible for 12 month aboard and 6 month of integration in a German university, at which the sponsored postdoc is employed the full funding period.
Deadline for application: 31 March 2014
Start of the funding: 1 September 2014

Mildred-Scheel postdoctoral programme
German Cancer Aid is offering postdoctoral stipends for young physicians and natural scientists who plan to realize a project in the field of clinic-related oncological basic research or clinical cancer research at well-known institutions aboard.
The programme has 4 review phases per year. Next Deadline is Monday, 17 March 2014.
