  • Time: 11:30-13:00 (appr.)
  • Location: in-person on North campus

About the speaker:

Lydia completed her PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience in 2017 at the German Primate Center (DPZ). She joined Kintiga Germany (formerly SKC Beratungsgesellschaft mbH) in 2018 as a Medical Writer focusing on the strategy development and compilation of dossiers for health technology assessment (HTA) in Germany. Since then, Lydia has taken various roles in strategic projects to support clients from the pharmaceutical industry in the market access process in Germany and Europe. As a Director Market Access, Lydia now serves as a product owner and strategic advisor to tailor strategic solutions across a wide range of therapeutic areas in the orphan and non-orphan space.

Representing Kintiga in various working groups and committees of influential associations of the pharmaceutical industry, Lydia shapes the German and European market access and policy landscape through expertise and thought leadership. Given her strong interest in cutting-edge technology, Lydia is leading Kintiga’s initiative to develop high-tech tools using artificial intelligence and automation to enrich our consulting services by letting robots do the boring work and using human smartness for handling the complex strategic challenges pharmaceutical companies are facing.

As a mum of a young daughter and aunt of two nephews, Lydia is the passionate Chair of the Executive Board of Working Moms Hannover, an association dedicated to supporting women in having both motherhood and a successful career. In her talk, Lydia will give insights into the every-day business in strategic consulting, how the successful move from academia to industry can look like and what career options exist in consulting.
