Workshop “How to proceed with postdoc experience?” – 17 May 2013

We are happy to announce our first workshop on “How to proceed with postdoc experience?” for postdocs with about two years of experience.

Friday, 17 May 2013, 10-18 o’clock

Goal: Reflecting one’s own current position and achievements; Deciding and planning how to go on

The workshop supports participants to become clear about previous achievements, and to prepare further steps. Depending on the review of previous achievements in the beginning of the workshop, participants have the chance to either focus on planning their academic career or having a look on alternative career paths and how to make a start on. Therefore the workshop group is divided in subgroups to better deal with these different aspirations. For this workshop, two trainers will work together to allow a better response to individual situations and needs.

If you would like to take part in the workshop, write an e-mail with a motivational statement (a few sentences about your motivation to take part and your goals/expectations regarding the workshop), if applicable, your year of Ph.D. and further relevant CV information, your affiliation and contact details to the coordinator (ggnb-career@gwdg.de).
