Information about the speaker:

Stephan graduated in December 2014 from the Genes and Development program within the GGNB whose speaker he was from 2012-2013. In his PhD studies in the lab of Dr. Roland Dosch he investigated the molecular mechanism of germ cell development in zebrafish.

After receiving his PhD, he joined agap2, an operational consultancy and engineering group specialized in Life Sciences in 2015. In his role as a Technical Business Manager in the Frankfurt office, he developed the business and worked with customers like Roche, Fresenius Medical Care, Catalent, Sanofi and Boehringer Ingelheim overseeing numerous projects spanning the whole product life cycle.

Since 2018 he is in charge of the Frankfurt office of agap2 and further develops the activities in the Rhein-Neckar region. Furthermore he acts as a mentor and is responsible for the career development of the company’s consultants.

About the sessions:

Career Impulse Sessions offer a platform for interactive and informal exchange about career-related topics for PhD students and Postdocs in the Life and Natural Sciences. By inviting PhD holders with different career paths, we would like to illustrate the broad range of potential careers for PhD students and Postdocs and give inspiration for career choices. The sessions also offer a platform to exchange experiences among each other.
