Many people used microscopy techniques during their PhD but how could you use such a skill to start a career in industry?
Peter Wehner a 3D-Imaging Specialist in Sales at Carl Zeiss Microscopy GmbH will explain how he used his knowledge in science for his current job and why a sales position could be a good start for your career.
Maybe it will help you to hear how he benefited from every educational step in his career and what it means to work as a sales specialist.
He is happy to share his experience with you and answers all your questions at the end.

Information about the speaker:
Peter Wehner studied Biology at the Friedrich-Schiller-University in Jena before he joined the GGNB PhD program “Genes and Development” in Göttingen. After successfully defending his thesis in 2012 he became a postdoc at the UMG. From January 2014 he worked as a microscopy specialist at the European Neuroscience Institute in Göttingen before joining Carl Zeiss Microscopy GmBH in October 2014 as a Sales Specialist for Imaging Systems.
