We are happy to invite you to our next Career Impulse Session titled “Is Consulting Pharma Companies the Right Career for You and How Can You Prepare for It?” with Dr. Ahmed Warda from IQVIA.

Working in consulting Pharmaceutical and healthcare companies with IQVIA since March 2018, Ahmed Warda has led over 50 team projects for top pharmaceutical companies including Novartis, Sanofi, Merck, Janssen, GSK, and Bayer, among others. Named to FORTUNE Magazine 2019 List of “World’s Most Admired Companies”, IQVIA has approx. 60,000 employees in more than 100 countries, dedicated to bringing our clients the best in creative problem solving, enabling healthcare companies to innovate with confidence, maximize opportunities, and ultimately drive healthcare forward.

In this seminar, Ahmed aims to interact with the audience, so they lead a seminar that fulfills their expectations. The audience will steer the presentation on understanding a career in consulting pharma companies, its challenges and rewards. Shall the audience decide, the seminar may shift to cover essential preparations for PhDs and Postdocs to have a career in consulting. Afterwards, Ahmed aims for an informal networking gathering to know more on current opportunities within IQVIA and to offer help and advice.

About the sessions: Our Career Impulse Sessions offer a platform for interactive and informal exchange about career-related topics for PhD students and Postdocs in the Life and Natural Sciences. By inviting PhD holders with different career paths, we would like to illustrate the broad range of potential careers for PhD students and postdocs and give inspiration for career choices. The sessions also offer a platform to exchange experiences among each other.
