I, Scientist – The conference on gender, career paths and networking (May 2018)

“I, Scientist – The conference on gender, career paths and networking” will be held on 25-26 May 2018 in Berlin (iscientist.de).

The conference is designed by and for students and young postdocs in natural sciences and mathematics. Their mission is to increase the visibility of female role models, introduce you to a variety of career options, and give you a dedicated time for networking and establishing useful contacts.

Early Bird registration is now open and has been extended to January 31, 2018 (register here).

Workshop “Job Hunting and Application Skills”, 5-6 February 2018

We are happy to announce our next GAUSS Career Service workshop “Job Hunting and Application Skills – Natural and Life Sciences” by Gaby Schilling.

Target group: Postdoctoral scientist and late-stage PhD students who are currently applying or planning to apply for a position in industry or other areas outside academia.

Goal: Becoming familiar with all steps involved in the application process.

Date: Monday, 5 February 2018 (12-17 h) & Tuesday, 6 February 2018 (10-17 h)
